Professional Training & Experience

Sally graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in June 2021 with a B.S. in Business Administration, concentration in Marketing and minor in Statistics. She first found her passion for non-profits after interning for a micro-finance organization in Oaxaca, Mexico and earning her certification in Critically Informed International Development. Since then, she has worked for the International Rescue Committee as a Business Professionalism intern as well as in content marketing for a sustainable marketplace startup. After graduating from Cal Poly, she joined EMI as its first business marketing fellow, serving on the business development Team. Upon completion of the fellowship programme in 2023, she joined EMI Global as a marketing specialist.

Ministry Experience

Ever since Sally was young, she has felt a tug on her heart towards missions. However, despite multiple attempts to go on a mission trip, it never quite worked out and she learned to listen to God's continuous "not yet". In college, Sally was very involved with Cru where she led a Bible Study and discipled freshmen girls. This is where she became even more invested in the idea of serving in ministry in a place where she could combine her degree with sharing Christ with others. She is very excited that God's "Not yet" has turned into a "go now", so she can begin her career in ministry.

Family

Sally comes from the Clarks from Clarksburg. She is the third of 4 children with 2 older sisters and a little brother. Her mother previously worked as a nurse before retiring to raise 4 kids and father is a civil engineer.
