Sandra Ayebazibwe Katende is the Human Resource Manager at EMI Uganda, bringing a wealth of HR experience and a diverse cultural background from the UK and Uganda. She specializes in developing HR strategies to enhance work environments, streamline operations, and increase employee engagement. Sandra is skilled in cultivating organizational cultures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing employer branding. She is currently pursuing an MBA at Wrexham University in North Wales to further her professional development.
Ministry Experience
From her early years, Sandra devoted her life to Jesus Christ, and this commitment has been evident in her active involvement in various charity and ministry roles, particularly those focused on children’s charities. Her heart resonates deeply with the struggles of vulnerable children, especially those affected by HIV and tirelessly raises funds for orphanages and care homes such as NyumbaniUK & the Hotcourses Foundation, GraceVilla, and Nsambya Babies Home.
Sandra’s role at EMI provides an opportunity to grow in faith alongside others and utilize her professional expertise to contribute to EMI’s vision of seeing people restored by God and the world restored through design.
Family
Sandra and Allan’s paths first crossed at a professional gathering in Kampala in 2009. Their connection was immediate and blossomed over time, leading them to exchange vows in a heartfelt ceremony in 2013. Their love story continued with the birth of their beloved daughter, adding a new chapter to their lives in 2022. Today, they are enveloped in the warmth and joy of family.
