The Baptist Mission of Kenya is looking to revitalize 14 acres of an existing site into a training center dedicated to raising up, equipping and launching church planters and missionaries from Africa to the ends of the earth.

Project Scope

Located on the outskirts of Nairobi, the 14-acre site contains several existing houses and three office buildings.  The site will be rehabilitated to provide staff and student housing, classrooms, dining facilities and support functions for the training of ministry leaders.

The EMI team has been invited to assess the existing infrastructure and buildings, and to provide a master plan for the ministry's development over the next 10-15 years on the site.  The plan will utilize the existing facilities to the extent possible and supplement with additional buildings as needed.  The team will provide structural, civil and electrical recommendations for the site.  Our survey work will update the original hand-drawn survey completed in 1980.   We will also provide conceptual design for the initial phase of work, which will include a classroom and training center, trainee housing and dining hall for 50 students.

EMI is excited to partner with the Baptist Mission of Kenya to support their vision of equipping Africans to engage in the Great Commission like never before. Will you consider using your skills to join us in this exciting work?
