The Syrian Civil War began in 2011, and continues today. The war has devastated the people of Syria, and has displaced millions of refugees. 1.5 million Syrian refugees fled to Lebanon, placing a huge burden on the country. Today, Lebanon has the highest per capita refugee population in the world, with 1 refugee for every 4 nationals.

The True Vine Baptist Church (TVC) seeks to bring a message of love and reconciliation in a bloody land. Their hope is to be a lighthouse to people lost in a sea of darkness, and their prayer is to see the peace of Christ prevailing in the Middle East.

If you are looking for bad news, go to the worldly media. If you are looking for good news, come see what Christ is doing in Lebanon. TVC has hundreds of amazing stories that prove miracles are still being performed among us. The sick are being healed miraculously, the lost are seeing dreams and visions from Jesus, and the sinners are coming back to the Lord.

"The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined." Isaiah 9:2

Will you join the True Vine Baptist Church in their mission to bring the love of Jesus Christ to the Middle East?

Project Scope

True Vine Baptist Church owns several properties adjacent to one another in Zahle, Lebanon, with the land currently occupied by the Church building and largely empty otherwise. It is their desire to utilize this additional land to provide additional office space, gathering halls, and other uses.

Our project trip includes an assessment of existing structures and infrastructure along with Master Planning and conceptual design. The scope for master planning includes the location of proposed buildings, repurposing of existing buildings on the site, considerations of currently unused spaces, and any required phasing. In addition to the master plan, our team will provide concept-level building designs for the campus. We will also provide conceptual water, wastewater, stormwater, and electrical infrastructure design.

We are looking to mobilize a team of EMI staff and volunteers to Lebanon for a 2-week trip in January. Will you prayerfully consider joining us in designing a world of hope for The True Vine Baptist Church? Click "I'm interested" above if you would like more information.
