In addition to our international projects, EMI Canada now serves ministries in Canada. We are looking to build a network of local Canadian design professional volunteers to join us in this exciting work.

Project Scope

(Note: At this time, EMI Canada is only looking for Canadian residents for future domestic projects opportunities. Expressing interest in this project will place you on EMI Canada's Domestic Project mailing list for consideration on future in-Canada project volunteer opportunities.)

Engineering Ministries International (EMI) is a non-profit Christian development organization mobilizing architects, engineers, surveyors, and construction managers.

Together, we are designing a world of hope.

Within the Canadian context, EMI helps ministries in the early stages of a building project with the following services:

VISIONING | EMI provides staff and volunteer teams to assist in the visioning process and work cohesively with Canadian ministries to conceptualize a project and identify needs. This helps ministries develop a sense of unity, communicate with their constituencies, and fundraise for their capital projects.

OWNER’S ADVISOR | EMI assists Canadian ministries by supporting them throughout the project lifecycle, enabling them to confidently engage and direct licensed architects, engineers, and construction professionals.

EMI Canada is well-equipped to serve:

  • The Church in Canada
  • Indigenous communities
  • Camp ministries
  • Christian education
  • Family support ministries
  • And more
