It is a privilege for EMI to work with Grace Klein Community on developing the Koinonia-Man Community Christian School (KMCCS). This school serving the community of Man, Ivory Coast, is a vision of founders Enza and Caitlin Koné. Their desire is to bring a Christ-centered education, integrated with the community and surrounding environment, to Enza's home community in western Ivory Coast. EMI will be serving the ministry by developing a campus master plan and concept designs for the first phase of development.

Project Scope

KMCCS is committed to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and community leadership through a biblically grounded education of classroom instruction, innovation projects and extracurriculars to prepare students to positively impact the world with integrity, passion, and kindness.

The two hectare property for the school is situated near the city of Man, which is a located in western Ivory Coast, nestled within the lush and picturesque landscapes of the Tonkpi region. Situated approximately 600 kilometers northwest of the country's economic capital, Abidjan, Man is characterized by its scenic beauty, with rolling hills, verdant forests, and cascading waterfalls dotting the surrounding countryside.

Despite its relatively remote location, Man boasts a vibrant community and serves as an important cultural and economic hub in the region. The town's bustling markets, lively festivals, and welcoming hospitality reflect the warmth and resilience of its inhabitants.

The school founders have identified significant needs in primary and secondary education in the region, and seek to address this gap with a bilingual Christian school. Their desire is to develop a school deeply integrated within the community and embodying a holistic approach to education.

Our EMI team will develop the first master plan for this new school; will help the ministry through visioning the future campus; and will guide the process of prioritizing future phases. We are excited to serve this ministry, and pray that our work will enable this school to be a shining example of true peace, love, and wholeness that comes from our Lord.
