Overland Missions has been existing to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the most remote people in the most forgotten places on earth. Overland Missions envisions this site located at Koh Ker, Preah Vihear Province to become a hub for their outreach efforts, with the main center building serving as a focal point for activities, training, and support for their team and local community.
Project Scope
Overland Mission is currently having projects that provide clean water, medical aid, and agricultural sustainability that let us focus on both the physical and spiritual needs of people as they transform forgotten peoples by making disciples and developing leaders around the world.
Overland would like to have a masterplan in place so they can move forward into the next step of development. They also requested that EMI Cambodia provide conceptual site utility distribution design as that will help them determine the feasibility of the project and plan for necessary infrastructure.
The vision for the 20 hectares of land includes: a main ministry center, classroom (for Bible training), storage room, public and private bathroom, farmland (animals & vegetables), housing for the director and long-term staff, guesthouse, and recreational area.
Scope of Work:
- Visit the site and gather further architectural program information.
- Develop a masterplan for the 20-hectare site:
Architectural services to include:
Programming Meetings to define the guiding principle
2D concept masterplan graphic of the full buildout and phasing of the facility
3D concept masterplan of buildings (exteriors only) of the full buildout of Overland’s facility.
Engineering services to include:
Conceptual water supply masterplan which will include estimated water demand and pipe layout
Conceptual wastewater treatment masterplan
Conceptual grading and stormwater management plan
Conceptual electrical masterplan layout, load study, energy source study and preliminary sizing.
