Get a vision for joining EMI staff in Nicaragua - the land of lakes & volcanoes!
Are you considering joining EMI long-term but struggling to picture what that could look like?
EMI Nicaragua invites you to 'come and see' what life and ministry are like in Managua during a one-week exploratory trip in late-October to early-November.
Rest easy, this vision trip is exploratory!
No long-term commitment to EMI is required to participate - just a willingness to see where God may be leading you. Spouses are welcome and encouraged to participate.
Project Scope
In this vision trip to Managua, Nicaragua, you will spend time with the EMI Nicaragua staff team, visit a local partner ministry, and learn about EMI's history & ministry opportunity in Nicaragua and beyond in Central America.
We want to help you get a real vision for daily life as an expat in Managua as well as get a clearer picture of the role you might play as part of this EMI staff team.
And if desired, there's an option for you to make a recreational extension to the core vision trip programme to explore this beautiful land of lakes and volcanoes, coffee and fruit!
We're limiting the group size to 4-5 adults to make sure each person's story and questions get the attention they deserve. Spanish language skills are of course welcome but not at all required to join.
This vision trip team will be led by EMI's Latin America Regional Director Matthew Coffey, who served cross-culturally with EMI for over 15 years - as a single, married, and married with kids EMI staff member.
Trip dates will be confirmed for best fit in attendee schedules within the two-week window of 26-October through 8-November, 2025.
