Gundugolanu School Concept Design, India

EMI invites you to join us as we start the concept design of the Gundugolanu Primary & Secondary School in rural India.

Project Scope

The Prakash Peterson Life Education Foundation is on a journey of bringing quality education to the Gunduloganu community in rural India as part of a broader gospel outreach as they seek opportunities to empower and transform lives. They plan to develop their 4.3-acre green field parcel of land (pictured above) into a thriving school for the area which is currently served by only one school which houses 1400+ primary students in less-than-ideal conditions for learning. 

The vision for the school in Gundugolanu is to create a high standard school, in every way, that declares the dignity of all students and provides access for all children in the community. The project is moving quickly with hopes to start construction summer of 2026. EMI MENA will be leading a team of design professionals to the site in late February to jumpstart the design documents by completing programming and conceptual design of the school whilst preparing drawings and designs for a seamless handoff to our staff team for immediate development of the detailed design package.

We are looking for experienced Architects, Engineers, Drafters and even Construction Managers interested in helping this project become a reality! If that's you, please consider joining us! Project goals include: 

• Development of REVIT model(s) of all buildings - ready to hand-over and move into detailed design
• Site development plan (SDP) that includes all site elements required for planning submission
• Development of a civil drawings towards a civil works package to begin early earthworks on site
