The EMI design team will work intentionally to integrate Creation Care principles into each stage of the project’s development. This includes evaluating environmental, social, and financial sustainability indicators to ensure decisions reflect a holistic understanding of responsible stewardship. From planning site orientation and maximizing natural ventilation, to considering renewable energy options, ecological preservation, and long-term maintainability, the team will examine how each proposal promotes the well-being of both people and the environment.
Project Scope
Operation Mobilization (OM) Philippines stands as a dedicated organization committed to seeing Christ-centered lives and communities take root, flourish, and multiply. Their mission is deeply anchored in the desire to see transformation—spiritual, social, and economic—among communities across the Philippines and beyond. Through partnerships with both local and global churches and organizations, OM Philippines actively engages in evangelism and discipleship, mobilization for missions, cross-cultural training, and compassionate outreach among unreached and marginalized groups. Their heart is to see the gospel lived out tangibly, catalyzing change that impacts individuals, families, and entire communities.
In this context, EMI Cambodia has been given the privilege of coming alongside OM Philippines to provide architectural conceptual design services. At the core of this partnership is a shared commitment to Creation Care—a principle rooted in honoring God by stewarding His creation responsibly. Creation Care is not merely a design philosophy but a theological conviction: that humanity has been entrusted with the care, protection, and wise management of the Earth. This perspective guides every aspect of the design process, influencing the way structures are imagined, materials are selected, and environments are shaped.
