Daniel grew up in East Africa. He grew up watching his father provide engineering and construction services for other missionaries and churches in remote areas—helping with housing, water, and electrical needs. After graduating with a Mechanical Engineering degree in 2003, Daniel traveled throughout the USA, South East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand before working 3 years for an international relief organization on construction projects in Northern Uganda and Sudan. He met his wife, Jennifer while in Sudan and they married in 2008 after moving to Minneapolis, MN. Daniel worked 8 years for a company specializing in custom process equipment, their family grew to include 3 kids, and in 2016 they moved to Uganda to help start EMI’s new research and development department.
