Born and raised in Northern Ireland, John studied architecture in England, where most of his experience was designing schools and community buildings. John believes that architects must learn to think beyond simply buildings and embrace the people and the stories that found there. John is passionate about an architecture that builds community and is coloured by its surroundings: that tells people's stories and gives voice to their vision. John, Jenny and their family have been working with EMI in Central America since 2012. John is the Design Manager at EMI Nicaragua.
Nacido y criado en Irlanda del Norte, John estudió arquitectura en Inglaterra, donde la mayor parte de su experiencia fue en el diseño de escuelas y edificios comunitarios. John cree que los arquitectos deben aprender a pensar más allá de los edificios y abrazar a las personas e historias que allí se encuentran.
