Mathieu Lembelembe is a Congolese citizen. In 2015, he joined EMI Uganda as an architectural intern for two consecutive terms. He then joined as staff in 2016, and was mobilised to supervise the structural retrofit, remediation and construction of the community centre of a Christian university in eastern Congo.
In 2019, he was mobilised as construction manager at Kibuye Hope Hospital in Burundi where he managed the construction of the 130-bed paediatric building and several other building projects. He is now in Cape Town working as a volunteer staff architect with EMI South Africa.
Mathieu Lembelembe est un citoyen congolais. En 2015, il a rejoint EMI Ouganda en tant que architecte stagiaire pour deux semestres consécutifs. Il a ensuite rejoint l’organisation comme membre du personnel en 2016, et a été mobilisé pour superviser la rénovation structurelle et la construction du centre communautaire d'une université chrétienne dans l'est du Congo.
En 2019, il a été mobilisé comme directeur de construction à l'hôpital Espoir de Kibuye au Burundi où il a géré la construction du bâtiment pédiatrique de 130 lits et plusieurs autres projets immobiliers. Il est maintenant au Cap où il travaille comme architecte bénévole pour EMI Afrique du Sud.
