“In university I heard that EMI could combine my civil engineering education with my heart to serve. After graduating, I did an EMI internship in Colorado Springs where I found like-minded people working together for God’s glory. I wanted to be a part of that! I joined EMI staff to help with the Intern Program, which was a great fit because I knew engineering design was not my future. Over my seven years in the Global Office, I was able to mobilize hundreds of new interns, volunteers, and staff all over the world. A few years ago, during a mission trip I was leading with my local church, God called me from “sending” to “going.” It's exciting to be part of the new EMI office in Cambodia, a place where we could make a great impact. For me, God’s call to go to Cambodia was just as clear as His call to join EMI.”
