Celebrating Vicky Mah's 15 Years at EMI

EMI United States,

For over 15 years, Vicky Mah has served EMI using her incredible gifts! Vicky first came to EMI as a civil engineering graduate and served as an intern in the US office for two terms in 2008-2009. She has been with EMI ever since, first as an administrative assistant to the US intern programme, then as a US HR administrative assistant. Vicky joined the EMI Cambodia launch team in 2016, working in project development, human resources, and the fellowship programme until her return to the US office in 2022.

Vicky now serves as Fellowship Coordinator and Member Care Coordinator at EMI USA. Her organization and expansion of our member care services has come at a critical time and she’s excelled in this role with her empathic nature and experience living abroad.

Additionally, Vicky has been helping EMI GO as a Social Media Editor for a number of years and if there’s fun being had inside or outside the office, Vicky likely had a hand in making it happen!

Outside of work Vicky serves on the governing board of her church, loves playing soccer, and most nights a week is engaging with her community in Colorado Springs.

Thank you for 15 years of faithful service with EMI, Vicky!

Celebrating Danielle Adams' 10 Years at EMI

EMI United States,

Danielle first heard about EMI through a friendship with a former staff member while working for Samaritan’s Purse in North Carolina. Danielle has now served EMI faithfully in multiple offices since joining in 2014.

She first served as an intern in the India office in 2013, and then later joined the US Office as member staff, supporting the team with design, drafting, and editing the reports on many of our projects. Her attention to detail improved every project she touched in significant ways. She also helped organize and coordinate many of the details associated with our network and world staff conferences for several years, building on her similar past work at SP.

In 2020, she followed a calling to move overseas and join the team in India, spending three and half years contributing to that team. Her architectural design talent continued to grow and she was able to have opportunity to use her interior design skills to support various design-build projects. In summer 2023, Danielle rejoined the US Office and has been a significant contributor to our architectural team and co-leader on several project trips. She brought back with her a deep love for India that continues to be evident in her work and her relationships. In addition to her keen eye for design and detail, her deep commitment and responsibility has been a huge blessing to our team and ministry clients.

Outside of the office, Danielle is known for her excellence in sewing, baking, and artistic expression – any way of bringing more beauty to the environment around her. She is also well-known for being able to plan an event around any theme or excuse for bringing people together.

We are so grateful for Danielle’s 10 years of service and look forward to many more to come!
