CHIRIA, Oaxaca, Mexico

CHIRIA has been operating in the state of Oaxaca for more than 20 years, serving mainly families and children in need in the region. CHIRIA has great team of local staff that help operate the three main programs of their ministry: Shelter, Education and Food. Today they are limited in terms of space, due to the facilities they are renting and have reached out to EMI with a desire to develop a new campus in which the three programs of the ministry are integrated in a more adequate and sustainable way. EMI's vision is to see people restored by God and the world restored through design, and thus we see a clear connection between the ministry of CHIRIA and EMI Mexico. We are excited to join them, give voice to their vision, and help them plan for the future.

Project Scope

Some time ago CHIRIA acquired a 20.5 hectare property with a good location and sufficient spatial capacity, but with challenging topographical features. CHIRIA has reached out to EMI Mexico requesting our collaboration in this project. The full project scope includes the following elements
