EMI is excited to be working again with 4Africa - a ministry doing work to empower entrepreneurial, servant-minded leaders that are guided by biblical principles to be equipped to handle the complex challenges in communities in Africa.
We shall be working to develop a campus masterplan for their new Secondary School in Northern Uganda including designing and updating the concept designs for a number of needed school buildings.
4Africa has constructed and run a similar school regionally and are excited by the results of their LEAD model (Leadership | Entrepreneurship | Academics | Discipleship) reporting expansion into a "comprehensive 10-year program [that] is recognized as one of the top A-Level education programs in East Africa."
We are looking forward to helping expand their reach and capabilities as they support an empower a new generation of young men and women who will help bring about gospel centred redemption across the continent.
EMI will work with 4Africa's team to develop a masterplan and concept designs for their newly purchased land in Gulu, Northern Uganda. Their hope is that this school shall be adapted and informed by their experiences with a previous school designed with EMI support implementing new priorities and lessons learned from using their previous spaces.
The EMI team will be working to develop a new masterplan for LEAD 4Africa with similar themes to their first campus design and developing ideas coming from their experiences using their facilities.
The proposed facilities to be designed or updated for the new masterplan include:
- Headmaster House
- Staff Quarters
- Guest House
- Dining Hall
- Main Hall
- Classroom Block
- Mechanical Building
- Latrines/Guard House
- STEM Centre
Water supply and distribution
Site grading, paths, and roads
Electrical supply and distribution
