EMI invites you to join them in partnership with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) in the development of a conceptual master plan for a new ministry base in the city of Pachuca, Mexico, located approximately 1.5 hours north of Mexico City. This base will include missionary training facilities, housing for trainees, an auditorium to serve as a church meeting space, accommodations for teams engaged in construction projects and children’s camps, and transitional housing for teenagers coming from orphanages.

Project Scope

YWAM Pachuca is deeply committed to equipping the church through the training and discipling of missionaries, so that they may be sent out to plant churches and carry out ministry throughout the world, with the purpose of building up groups of reached believers and establishing foundations and relationships in unreached regions.

Currently, YWAM Pachuca operates with several training and equipping programs, the most common of which is the Discipleship Training School (DTS). These trainings are conducted at an existing operational base located near the city center, whose facilities function adequately, although they have already reached their limit in terms of space and capacity for existing programs.

With the goal of continuing to grow their programs and expand their range of services, the YWAM Pachuca leadership team has acquired a 3,000 m² undeveloped property located in a neighboring community of Pachuca, where they plan to develop a campus that will house all their programs and projected growth. These programs include hosting construction teams, youth and children’s camps, a ministry utilizing the proposed auditorium as a church meeting space, and transitional housing for teenagers coming from orphanages or children’s homes. For this purpose, they have requested EMI’s services in the design of a Site Master Plan.

The Site Master Plan includes the following components:

  • Analysis of existing site conditions
  • Development of the site master plan and architectural design of the proposed buildings
  • Design of building water systems, site drainage, and electrical infrastructure
  • Development of project phases and estimated costs per phase.
