Agape International Missions (AIM) is a Christian nonprofit organization that rescues survivors of sex trafficking, provides restoration homes for healing, and equips communities to prevent exploitation in Southeast Asia and Central America.
It is a privilege for EMI Nicaragua to be able to offer AIM our partnership in the design of a master plan for the development of their existing base in Belize. This will include conceptual architectural plans for new office and accommodation facilities. At this strategic moment in the organisation’s growth, the master plan will be critical for setting AIM up well to continue to faithfully serve the most vulnerable, well into the future.
Project Scope
As well as providing architectural plans, we will develop recommendations for potable water, wastewater, stormwater, structural design and electrical infrastructure to support the proposed master plan of the 13-acre site. Recommendations from a recent security assessment will be incorporated into the master plan, and so we are seeking designers with experience in the implementation of site security features.
AIM have also requested a sustainability assessment, so we are seeking sustainability specialists with LEED accreditation, or similar, to conduct an appraisal that will incorporate EMI’s new Community, Resources and Environment (CoRE) sustainability assessment tool.
