Mission hospitals have long been central to healthcare provision in Zambia, and as demands on the sector evolve, they increasingly require strategic planning support to grow sustainably and serve their communities well. Loloma Mission Hospital and Gospel Perpetuating Fund (GPF) are seeking a comprehensive facility assessment and multi-disciplinary master site plan to guide the hospital's future development.
Situated in Manyinga District, North Western Province, the hospital was established in 1956 to provide quality healthcare to the rural communities of Manyinga and beyond. Operating as part of the Loloma Mission Station under Christian Missions in Many Lands (CMML), it serves a catchment population of around 80 000 people with approximately 120 beds.
Project Scope
The EMI team will conduct an on-site visit to engage with program directors and department leads, assessing current challenges, anticipated growth, and projected needs in close collaboration with hospital leadership — developing a strategic framework to guide the hospital's development over the coming years.
Deliverables will include a report and drawings identifying opportunities for modification, expansion, and renovation aligned with the hospital's mission and vision. The facility assessment will document the current state of the campus, while the master site plan will serve as a guiding document for the next 5–10 years of upgrades and development.
We are privileged to serve Loloma Mission Hospital as they pursue "the continual provision of quality healthcare to meet the needs of our changing world" and "to communicate the Gospel of the Lord Jesus through word and deed." Would you prayerfully consider joining this team to support the hospital's efforts to improve healthcare and save lives in Zambia?
