Project Scope
EMI is excited to announce a new project opportunity to serve alongside Simple Sparrow Care Farm (SSCF) in Hutto, TX. SSCF is a ministry that provides trauma-informed therapeutic and educational services using farm nature. They teach others to care for land, gardens and animals to better care for themselves and others. Through creation care theology, Biblical counseling and other therapeutic interventions, SSCF is able to bring healing to some of the most vulnerable in their community.
Their vision is to create a small campus that includes a facility to house livestock combined with living and therapy spaces for participants of the program.
Our team will work closely with SSCF leadership to develop a campus feasibility study that supports the ministry’s long-term vision for the site and allows them to take the next steps for realizing their vision. The team will confirm the ministry’s program and evaluate local zoning, building requirements, site conditions and other opportunities and constraints that will inform the design.
The project will include feasibility options for future buildings, roadways, pedestrian circulation and supporting infrastructure. The feasibility study will help SSCF to communicate its vision and support future fundraising efforts.
