How about Ramadan in the Middle East this year! EMI MENA dwells in the midst of abundant cultural experiences. An internship in such a dynamic region allows our interns to encounter personal growth on so many levels. A first-hand experience of God’s amazing work in the region.
In the very first couple of weeks of the internship, our interns are introduced to EMI’s work in the region, staff, fellows, and fellow interns. You will meet people of diverse backgrounds with exceptional stories to tell and uplifting testimonies to share. Our staff will help you get familiar with the different culture, language, and metric system! Keeping your heart open to new challenges is key.
During your internship, you will participate in a project where you will use your academic background and skills to serve the Lord in this region. It is a chance to meet and work with international and local professionals. This internship is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in design programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. A great way to gain real exposure to client work and the design process.
Our projects for this term are not fully confirmed yet, but our interns would likely go on one project trip during the semester. This will give you a valuable insight into working life acquired while working side by side with a volunteer in your same discipline. After the project trip, our interns will assist staff and volunteers in drafting, 3D modeling, and report writing.
