In October, Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm, made landfall in Jamaica, devastating communities along the southwestern coast with torrential rain and 185 mph winds. As the strongest storm on the planet this year, Hurricane Melissa has caused widespread destruction and left countless families without access to safe water and sanitation. EMI is partnering with Water Mission to provide critical engineering support for clean water and sanitation solutions to communities impacted by the disaster.
